About the technique

Over the last 5 years, Louise Anthony has been studying the Speech Level Singing Technique, and in January 2010 became a certified teacher under their organisation. Since then Louise has continued to work with many Top Vocal Coaches all over the world, which has enabled her to adapt the technique, and continue to get outstanding results from all of her students. Whether you are a professional singer or a complete beginner, this technique can dramatically improve your voice.

At Medley Studios, we are able to direct the student to adjust the mechanism of their voice, without them even realising, correcting many vocal issues that affect almost every singer. If you feel you lack power, have a break in your voice, feel strain when you sing, or suffer with any of the other many vocal issues that singers complain of, then vocal tuition at Medley Studios is just for you. We don’t ask you to ‘feel’ or ‘imagine’ what to do, we get you doing it from day one! All you need to do is take the unique combination of scales and sounds that are producing results during your lesson, and practise, practise, practise! If you do this, the results will be apparent in no time. This process works largely on a muscle memory basis, therefore taking a lot of pressure away from the singer.

Once we have made steps towards correcting any vocal issues, if you are looking to become a professional singer, we are able to cover performance technique, song writing, creating an image, getting work, and much more to enable you to become successful artist!!

Each Year, all students are invited to take part in various performances staged by Medley Studios. This gives you the chance to apply what you have learnt, show friends and family your progress, as well as having the chance to perform in front of various industry professionals that are invited to most performances.
